Who we are:
Splash Social Marketing has over 20 years internet and social network marketing experience servicing small local businesses, politicians, celebrities and corporations. Although we are a "Mom and Pop" business, we've worked with national brands with clients in the USA, the UK and Australia.
Jacquie's background is in psychology/counseling with a touch of journalism. In 2010, when Tom broached the idea to combine her experience and skills with his internet marketing and design experience and skills, she jumped at the genius opportunity! Since 2010, Jacquie has developed content strategies, created content, and managed social marketing on a daily basis for businesses across the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. She prides herself on the ability to learn the language, tone of voice, and target market for each business with whom she works.
Jacquie is a strong believer in community involvement. She currently serves as the Chair of the Ambassadors for the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, is the Vice President of Public Relations for Clermont Toastmasters, and helps run Women Helping to Empower Women.
Improving quality of life, both personal and professional, is a passion for Jacquie. She created The Better Engagement Expert to help reach as many people as possible. As the B.E.E., she speaks to groups/individuals on leadership, boundary setting, communication and more. She believes improvements begin with the self and branch out to family, community, and beyond.
Tom began his internet marketing career in 1999. His expertise has been called upon by companies such as Autotrader.com, Dealerskins, AT&T and Reach Local. He has consulted independently for companies including Ebay, General Motors, UPS and Lucasfilm. He has been a guest instructor at Stony Brook University on Digital Marketing and Social Network Marketing.
As one of the owners of Splash Social Marketing, Tom commits himself to helping businesses achieve their goals on the internet and has often been asked to present seminars by local Small Business Development Centers and Business Resource centers.
Tom's knowledge of internet marketing is only rivaled by his passion for giving back to the community and helping others. He teaches Dungeons and Dragons to young teens with special needs. He also is a member of the 501st Legion, the Rebel legion, the Orlando Ghostbusters, The Wilbur and Costumers with a Cause where he donates his time to such charities as The Make a Wish Foundation, Give kids the World, The Special Olympics and many other local charities.
